What is the Tuition Relief Fund?
The Tuition Relief Fund (TRF) was initiated by the St. Paul’s Board of Trustees in April 2020 in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The purpose of the Fund is to provide one-time tuition assistance grants to St. Paul’s families who have experienced a reduction in income as a result of the pandemic. TRF grants will be applied to the 2020-2021 school year. Funded partially by existing school resources, the TRF will require an additional $150K in new funds to be successful.
Why is the TRF important?
St. Paul’s is deeply rooted in values of equity and inclusion, and our school community is as widely diverse as the surrounding Oakland and East Bay community. Since our founding, diversity has been our strength and people have been our highest priority. We believe this is a moment to invest in our core values: by caring for each other and keeping the St. Paul’s community whole through COVID-19, we will emerge stronger, together.
