Middle School Sports

Select a Team

Being part of a sports team at St. Paul's is a lot of fun. Under the guidance of Athletic Director Debbie Meyer and coaches, St. Paul's athletes work hard and work together.

Teams are open to Sixth Grade & Middle School students. St. Paul’s participates in the Middle School Sports League and competes against other independent schools. The School offers the following teams:

Fall
Coed cross-country
Coed flag football
Coed soccer

Winter
Girls' varsity basketball
Girls' junior varsity basketball
Boys' varsity basketball
Boys' junior varsity basketball

Spring
Coed volleyball
Coed Ultimate Frisbee

There are tryouts, but everyone makes a team; everyone who comes to practice gets to play in games. Tryouts are used to determine placement on a junior varsity or varsity team. Permission slips are required for all teams.

Meets/games take place during the school week. Students are transported to meets/games with the assistance of parent drivers. Students are returned to the Lower School after the meets/games unless otherwise arranged with the parent drivers.
