Values

Education at St. Paul’s is characterized by academic rigor, inclusivity, critical thinking, and social involvement. As part of our Episcopal tradition, we develop independence, respect, empathy, fairness, and the moral imperative to serve others and care for our planet. In an expression of this tradition, St. Paul’s infuses its program and community with the following set of values:

List of 5 items.

  • Academic Rigor

We believe diversity of thought, viewpoints, and talents are cornerstones of academic excellence. Students are academically, intellectually, and personally challenged to develop the skills and knowledge to solve complex problems creatively.
  • Diversity & Inclusion

We embrace differences as an essential strength of our school. By learning in a vibrant community that celebrates, values, and respects diversity in its many forms, students have the opportunity to develop the life skills needed in the world they will inherit.
  • Fearless Learning

We push the boundaries of our assumptions, knowledge, and abilities and learn from our successes and failures. Within a safe community, our students develop resilience and perseverance by challenging themselves to take risks in the classroom.
  • Service & Stewardship

We care for our environment as well as our local and global community. Students are asked to think outside of themselves and to learn from other people's perspectives and experiences.
  • Spirituality

We welcome students and families from all faiths or none. Through our longstanding partnership with the Church, we teach spiritual and cultural traditions from around the world in an open manner. Our students learn to step into different cultures with grace, confidence, and understanding.
