Welcome to the party! This is a once-in-lifetime, special event with over 1,000 expected guests.

All children, including middle school students, must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them. There is no childcare on site, and faculty are attending as guests.

Parking

Paid public parking is available for $5 on Bellevue Avenue and is operated by the City of Oakland (kiosk closes at dusk on Saturday). Meters are active until 8:00 p.m. on Grand Avenue and on streets in surrounding neighborhoods. 
Please remove all valuables from your vehicle.

At the event:

  1. To enter, give the password “spark” to the Fairyland staff at the main gate (or show proof of registration)

  2. Check in at the registration table just inside to collect your nametag, program, and food ticket.

With admission, each guest receives one (1) food ticket for a meal at one of the food vendors. Additional food will be available for purchase at some vendors.

  1. Adults who wish to drink alcohol (wine, beer, or a custom cocktail), proceed to the ID check to get a wristband and two (2) drink tickets.

  2. There are many ways to have fun at the 50th! In addition to Fairyland’s attractions, there will be a 50th Anniversary Concert, a historic Art Walk, a photo booth, facepainting, dancing, special edition SPES merch, and more.

Food & Drink

Each guest receives one food ticket with admission. Tickets are good for one meal at one of our 5 food vendors. If you would like additional food, some vendors will be accepting direct payment from guests. Food vendors are located adjacent to the train and in “Old West.”
 
Alcoholic drinks will be served by professional bartenders at three bar locations. Beer, wine, and a custom batch cocktail crafted by Class of 2030 parent Simone Greene. Adults who wish to partake must get a wristband at registration and will receive 2 drink tickets.
 
Non-alcoholic drinks will be available self-serve at 4 drink stations stocked with water, sparkling water, and Honest Kids box drinks.

St. Paul's Episcopal School is founded for the education of children from all parts of the city regardless of cultural or economic background.

1997

Campus Expands to Grand Avenue

Middle School building opens for classes. Beginning as a K-5 school, we added Sixth Grade in 1977 and Grades 7-8 in 1989.

2010

Our Campus Grows

Project begins on renovation of the Casa and playground to include Learning Center, Gymnasium, and Lower School Library.

2020

Halloween on Zoom

School closes for COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. Campus remains closed until 2021.
