Spanish enrichment class for Kindergarten & First Grade
Global “
Exploradores” is an art-based, experiential, and fun way to learn and practice Spanish. As we travel around the alphabet and the globe, children will enjoy creating individual and group projects inspired by our weekly destination. By incorporating elements of Art, STEAM, kinesthetic activities, games, and music, students will learn, express, and connect to the content in a safe, supportive and engaging environment.

Class is open to K-1 students. All levels welcome Maximum enrollment per class: Ten students Meets: Thursdays 2:50-3:40
Cost: $190 (all materials included)

Chess Club

The Berkeley Chess School is a nonprofit organization offering chess instruction from kindergarten through high school since 1982. Over the years their students have won many state championships and have gone on to become National Masters, FIDE Masters, and International Masters. Studies have found that chess helps improve test results in reading, science, and math, and produces growth in cognitive skills.

Toyology: Science Through Toys
Sarah's Science is bringing Toyology back to St. Paul's this Winter and Spring with ALL NEW PROJECTS! New and returning students welcome! In these exciting hands-on science classes we will build a variety of toys and use them to demonstrate major scientific concepts such as energy, electricity, light, gravity, motion, friction, magnetism and simple machines. Each student will construct and take home a science toy in every class. Project highlights this Winter include: Motorized Rotating Robot, Wind Powered Pulley, Static Charged Spaceship, Solar Powered Merry-Go-Round, as well as others.  Project highlights for the Spring include: Hand Held Catapult, Tubular Conductivity Robot, Krazy Kaleidoscope, Rubber Band Powered Ladybug and lots more! In this class, students will be exposed to the fundamental movement and sounds of
capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial arts. We will incorporate games, kicks,
acrobatics, and music. Kids will learn to sing simple songs in Portuguese, be
introduced to a few percussive capoeira music instruments, and learn basic
movement and rhythms of capoeira.
