  • Fall 2020 Overview

Summer planning for the coming school year has tested our collective tenacity and adaptability and given us an incredible opportunity for reflection and innovation. As with our strategic plan, Spark 2022, our philosophy for the coming year is guided by the singular purpose of nurturing the unique spark that lives within each of our students.
This year, as always, we are focused on providing an excellent academic program rooted in critical thinking, which inspires curiosity and advances students’ knowledge whether they are on campus or learning from home. We recognize that the students’ experience is built upon the essential foundation of social-emotional health and their capacity to care for their community. We believe in the pursuit of social justice and a fidelity to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
All St. Paul’s students should experience a strong sense of connection, belonging and significance in their classroom community and have access to the support they need to succeed and thrive. How every student feels seen, valued, and honored are foundational to learning who they are at their core and how they engage in the different communities around them.

As we have planned to adapt to the changing circumstances of COVID, we have defined three scenarios for our academic program this year:
  • Scenario 1: Distance Learning
  • Scenario 2: Hybrid Distance Learning and In-Person Outdoor Education
  • Scenario 3: Hybrid Distance Learning and In-Person Indoor/Outdoor Education

We are currently in Scenario 1. We will begin outdoor in-person meet ups for students and teachers the week of October 13 as we evaluate the safety of moving to Scenario 2.
