Flexible Tuition

For grades TK-5, tuition for the 2026-2027 school year is $39,960.
For grades 6-8, tuition for the 2026-2027 school year is $45,550.
The fees above represent day school tuition expenses (including books, equipment, and materials, and all field trips). Facilities and After School Program costs are additional.

We hold financial information submitted by families in the strictest confidence. Flexible tuition calculations are done by the Admissions Office and Business Office, independently of admissions assessments, student performance, and family interactions with the school. 

St. Paul's uses Clarity to compute tuition for families. Parents complete Clarity's Family Application online. Additional resources about completing a Parent Application can be found below.

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. Note that there is a $65 fee to submit your application.

Note:

• The application takes approximately 30-40 minutes to complete and is mobile-friendly, allowing you to access it anywhere. You can also save your progress and return at any time.
• You can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools. 
• When submitting your application, you will grant Clarity permission to connect with the IRS to transmit tax documentation, including 1040s and W2s. Supporting documents needed for all families completing the Clarity application: most recent pay stub for hourly or salaried employees. 
• You may be required to upload additional tax documentation (pay special attention to emails from St. Paul's or Clarity regarding this), including but not limited to S-Corporations or Schedule E partnerships along with corresponding K-1s, 1120s, and/or Form 1065.

In order to accommodate families, we have three different options for paying tuition for the 2026-2027 school year. Each enrolled family can view and manage their payments in their FACTS account:

Single Payment: due June 1
Two Payments: due on or before June 1 and on or before January 1 (40%, plus a finance fee)
Monthly Payments: over 10 months, June - March (includes a finance fee)

The BASIC Fund is a non-profit that offers a separate scholarship program for low income families to help them make independent school possible. Some families may qualify for a BASIC Fund scholarship in addition to the support they receive from St. Paul's through Flexible Tuition. We encourage interested families to see if they are eligible (scroll down past the main photo to read eligibility criteria), and if so to submit an application to the BASIC Fund in addition to applying for flexible tuition.

A BASIC Fund scholarship is applied to the school's tuition set through the flexible tuition process, reducing a family's financial obligation. You can see their flyer about applying (includes English and Spanish). 

Flexible Tuition applications should be completed on Clarity. 

Current Families:
December 1: Family Application due. Current families interested in being considered for Flexible Tuition must reapply each year and meet the December deadline. Please reach out to the Director of Finance for more information.

New Families:
December 1 (early applicants) or January 19, 2027: Family Application due. St. Paul's notifies families of their tuition in the admissions decision packets that are sent in mid-March. 

Applications completed outside the above timeline will be considered on a rolling admission basis and may be subject to limited space and/or Flexible Tuition.
