Kate Klaire, Dean of Community Engagement

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., our students will participate with their buddies in focused Community Engaged Learning activities during chapel time on Friday, January 17. Mx. Klaire and the teachers have formed groups using the school's buddy system and curriculum alignment. Each group has a different community engaged activity.

We need your support! We genuinely cannot do it without you! Please drop donations inside the front entrance of either building. The larger green cans are for coats while the smaller white bins are for hygiene supplies.

In our continuing work with Serenity House and the food pantry, we are asking folks to please bring in supplies for hygiene kits  to provide to the monthly Community Wellness Event at Serenity House. If it's more convenient for you, feel free to use the link below (thanks to Stacey Foster!); items will be sent to school:

We are also in need of winter coats and raincoats for the St. Paul's food pantry to offer to neighbors who need them. These can be any size but please be sure they are in good condition.

We want to extend our gratitude to all of you for supporting our partners at Serenity House and the St. Paul's food pantry. The gifts that were provided for families were deeply meaningful along with all the yummy desserts people delivered for the Serenity House holiday meals. We are so happy to have strengthened our relationship with the St. Paul's food pantry, and we're grateful to all of you who packed and delivered holiday meals to Oakland senior residents.
