A Great Good Place for Books

A Great Good Place for Books in the Montclair neighborhood of Oakland is a locally owned bookstore and maintains a relationship with St. Paul's School and St. Paul's Episcopal Church. With the church's Interfaith Lecture Series, the bookstore cosponsors public lectures at by noted authors and contributes to the Oakland community in a variety of ways, thus earning the Debi Echlin Memorial Community Bookstore of the Year Award.

For every book, birthday card, or other item purchased, the store will donate 15% of the sale (not including taxes) to St. Paul's School.

For St. Paul's to receive credit, tell the book store staff that the purchase is to be credited to the St. Paul's Book Club and give the School's phone number: 285.9600.

For purchases made via phone, fax, or online, the book can be hand-delivered to a child's classroom at St. Paul's School or shipped directly to the purchases (shipping charges apply).
