St. Paul's School's Sixth Graders receive a Certificate of Appreciation
City of Oakland's Public Works Agency and Keep Oakland Beautiful honor the students for cleaning Lake Merritt every Thursday afternoon.
This project is a featured activity of St. Paul's Service Learning Program that connects community service to academic instruction and reflection.
Through this educational and social development program, all of the students participate in projects to benefit others in the community and the natural world. Each year, the students provide over 7,000 hours in service through over two dozen organizations.
For more information on this dynamic program, please contact Love Weinstock, Director of Service Learning.
