St. Paul's students included in Pinwheels for Peace photo array
Coordinated by art teacher Wendy Shiraki-Raphael, all students in grades 3-7 made small pinwheels reflecting their desire for peace in the world. The completed pinwheels were displayed on the lawn of the Grand Avenue side of the school property.
Several pictures of St. Paul's students with their creations are included in a large picture array on the Pinwheels for Peace web site. To view them, go to: To look at pictures, go to Pinwheels Photos I and Pinwheels Photos II.
"Pinwheels for Peace" was first started in 2005 by two Florida art teachers to provide students with a way to express their feelings about what is going on in the world and in their lives.
