Carrying bags and boxes of books, St. Paul’s second graders traveled to Concord recently to deliver used books and non-violent games to Books for the Barrios. See the video!
Since 1981, Dan and Nancy Harrington, founders of Books for the Barrios, have sent 10 million books to children in the Phillipines.
“We filled boxes up until they were so full,” said Trixie, a second grader. “Once a box was done, you sat on it.”
“The kids are basically just like us,” said Trixie.
