St. Paul's School's Book Fair from October 14-17, 2007
Sponsored by the St. Paul’s Parent Association, the annual Book Fair has an exciting and long-standing tradition at St. Paul's School. The Book Fair promotes a life-long love of reading, raises significant funds to purchase library books, and also provides a social setting for the greater St. Paul's community.
After last year's resounding Book Fair success, St. Paul's is happy to continue its partnership for a second year with Cody’s Books. Cody's Books is a local independent bookstore that understands the desires of the diverse Bay Area reader and provides them with a variety of quality titles. Cody's Books also understands the importance of actively supporting local authors and small press publishers by promoting their published works. Cody's Books will be hand-selecting all titles for this year's Book Fair and also providing an online Book Fair shopping option on their website: Codys Books to order.
St. Paul’s School’s Book Fair features a selection of books that is engaging, diverse, and current for readers of all ages and levels, and a chance to support the School and Bay Area economy. This is a fun opportunity to build a home library and/or shop for holiday or celebratory gifts for family, friends, clients, employees, and co-workers.
The Book Fair will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal School, 116 Montecito Avenue in Oakland. Book Fair hours will be: Sunday, October 14, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm; Monday, October 15, from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm; Tuesday, October 16, from 9:00 am - 7:30 pm; and Wednesday, October 17, from 9:00 am - Noon.
The public is invited to join us for Book Fair Family Night for Halloween Storytime and musical performances by St. Paul's students on Tuesday, October 16 from 4:30 – 7:30 pm.
