The Campaign for St. Paul's Episcopal School: When the Mission Matters has only seven weeks left! Now is the time to take advantage of a $100,000 matching gift challenge from the Nichols Foundation and an anonymous family.

Called the Mission Minded Match, the challenge will match dollar for dollar any new or increased gift to the campaign until the campaign ends on June 30, 2008. For example, if you make a gift of $1,000, the School will receive an additional $1,000 from the match. Essentially, you are "doubling your dollars" to the campaign.

To date, the campaign has raised $3.75 million. The goal is to raise $4 million by June 30, 2008. The wish of the donors is to inspire all who believe in the educational mission of St. Paul's to participate in improving our campus for our children. When completed in winter 2010, our $18 million construction project will have succeeded in literally transforming our campus. Our children will have more than 30,000 square feet of new and renovated space including:

• A gymnasium and rooftop play area

• A new Lower School Library

• A remodeled Lower School

• A new Lower School entrance and bridge connecting the Casa and the Lower School

• A new K-1 Classroom Building

• A renovated and retrofitted Middle School

• A retrofitted Lower School

Around campus, students are revved up about the prospect of the School’s first-ever gym.

“It’s going to be really cool!” said Rose, a fourth grade student.

“Awesome!” said John, a first grade student.
