St. Paul’s School's Board of Trustees is comprised of individuals who reflect the broad racial, socioeconomic, and cultural diversity of the School, including a diversity of perspectives and skills that best support the School’s mission of providing an excellent education to children of diverse backgrounds in an urban environment. Trustees represent many different areas of the community and constituencies, including parents, parents of alumni, people of color, Episcopalians, and practitioners of other faiths and spiritualities, gays/lesbians, educators, and community activists.

Trustees are elected for three-year terms. Board meetings are held monthly during the school year with planning retreats conducted at the beginning and end of each year. There are several ex-officio positions on the Board, all of whom are voting members. These include the Head of School, a faculty representative, the Rector and a member of the Vestry of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and the Parent Council President and Vice President.

St. Paul’s Board of Trustees is responsible for upholding St. Paul’s Mission and overseeing the long-term health and success of the School. Our duties include setting strategy and policy, financial oversight, and fundraising.
